A antiga Central Tejo é um dos exemplos mais notáveis de património industrial que a cidade de Lisboa possui. Qualquer pessoa que entre neste edifício dificilmente fica indiferente à monumentalidade do espaço e dramatismo de toda a maquinaria, estrutura e tubagens.
O projecto consiste em oferecer uma nova leitura deste lugar, enfatizando ao máximo a atmosfera industrial. Ao revestirmos todas as janelas exteriores com uma película translúcida vermelha, procura-se transformar totalmente este espaço pela luz, oferecendo uma perspectiva única deste edifício, apenas possível durante alguns meses.
Como suporte às duas exposições previstas é proposta uma faixa contínua, de forma livre e orgânica. Desenhando um percurso contínuo e em movimento, como um bailado entre a estrutura existente, criando alguma carga sensual em oposição ao ambiente industrial do edifício. O visitante pode eleger livremente qual a exposição que deseja visitar primeiro uma vez que o próprio percurso o leva depois à outra exposição, sem ter que voltar atrás, independentemente do sentido do trajecto que tenha escolhido inicialmente.

Architecture Triennale (Electricity Museum pole). The former Central Tejo building is one of the most striking examples of industrial heritage that the city of Lisbon has. Any person entering this building is hardly indifferent to the grandness of space and drama of the machinery, structures and tubes.
The project consists in offering a new interpretation of this place, emphasizing the industrial atmosphere. By coating all exterior windows with a translucent red film, we aim to transform completely this space with the light, offering a different and unique perspective of the building, only possible for a few months.
In support of the two exhibitions planned, we propose a continuous strip, in a free and organic way. Drawing a continuous path, like a ballet between the existing structure, creating a sensual energy in opposition to the industrial atmosphere of the building. Visitors can freely choose which exhibition they want to visit first since the path itself takes then to the other exhibition without having to go back, regardless of the direction chosen initially.
